Rather than select handfuls of distance targets then coming back to them, lay out a little “target course” around the pyramids. Set out cones, towels or other markers at distances of different intervals. Practice your target shots from different lies. This will not only be a great way to help with accuracy and distance control but it is also fun to practice like this because you are simulating on-course scenarios.
2. The Pressure Challenge
Set the Pressure ChallengeCompete against yourself on how many locked-in reps you can hit before falling under stress. This means picking up a club and taking 100 shots at the same target. The catch? A successful shot only if we hit the target within a certain number of attempts Doing so will allow you to focus, release from a consistent body postion and when put on the wall adds pressure (similar to in-game conditions). Ask a friend to do this with you and make it your own little friendly competition!
